Regarding socioeconomic status, 19.5% came from families of high socioeconomic level, 37.5% from families of middle level, and 43% from families of low socioeconomic level.

Scoring Method

Based on responses concerning condom use, participants are classified into three categories: consistent users, inconsistent users, and non-users. Regarding relationship exclusivity, three categories emerge: non-exclusive on the respondent’s part, non-exclusive on the partner’s part, and mutually exclusive. As for the type of relationship, there are four categories: romantic, marital, hedonistic, and utilitarian.
