Resilience Scale [RS-25]
Description
The Resilience Scale [RS-25] is a psychometric instrument designed to assess an individual’s ability to cope with and recover from difficulties and challenges in life. The scale addresses aspects such as sense of purpose, self-esteem, adaptability, emotional regulation, and social support.
Purpose
The main purpose of the RS-25 is to assess psychological resilience and to support the understanding of factors that contribute to successful adaptation in stressful or challenging circumstances.
Scoring
The RS-25 consists of 25 items, each rated on a 7-point Likert scale, from 1 = “Strongly Disagree” to 7 = “Strongly Agree.”
Applications
The scale can be used in research, clinical, and counseling settings to examine resilience, psychological adjustment, coping, and adaptation to adversity.
