Description of the Questionnaire
The Brief Neuropsychological Battery includes both well-established and original tests that assess core neurocognitive functions such as verbal abilities, visuospatial perception, attention, memory, and executive functions. The total duration of the assessment is approximately seventy-five minutes. There is no specific cut-off score, and the results are compared against normative data from a healthy population.
Data Analysis and Use
The collected data are used to evaluate the cognitive status of patients with neurological disorders. The analysis is based on comparing performance with population norms, aiming to identify deviations associated with conditions such as traumatic brain injury, stroke, tumors, and epilepsy.
Objective
The main objective of the battery is to provide a brief yet comprehensive evaluation of the key cognitive domains, facilitating both the diagnostic process and clinical follow-up.
Calibration
Scoring is performed for each subscale. No cut-off points have yet been established, and interpretation of the results relies on comparison with healthy population norms. Data on validity and reliability are not yet available.
